The Story of Kleeberger Contracting
Kleeberger Contracting Services is a 15 year business in the making. Though, if we’re looking at the bigger picture, it’s even longer than that.
I grew up on job sites.
From a young age, I was mixing mud and buttering tile alongside my dad, a journeyman tile setter. He was my first teacher. I was his right hand for home projects, which naturally grew into helping my cousins and family friends on side jobs they were tackling. Craftsmanship was learned early. Work ethic even earlier.
After high school, I tried the traditional college route and quickly realized it was not where my passion lived. That path led me into ministry, where I spent five years serving as a United Methodist pastor. During that season, I continued doing tile and remodeling work part time for friends and family through referrals and word of mouth.
In 2017, I made the decision to pursue contracting full time.
The work came quickly. Faster than I could handle alone. I brought in two of my wife’s cousins who had recently graduated college along with a couple of close friends. What started as a few young guys looking to earn some money quickly turned into something much bigger.
We were building a company.
From the beginning, Kleeberger Contracting Services was never just about projects. It was about people. Taking care of our clients. Taking care of our team. Creating an environment where trust, craftsmanship, growth, and purpose actually matter.
Today, I believe the reason KCS is what it is has far more to do with relationships than square footage. The way we work together as a team. The way we communicate with our clients. The way we treat your home, your time, and your trust as something sacred.
To some, it might seem strange to say a remodeling company can impact lives in meaningful ways. But I have seen it firsthand. When people are respected, supported, and proud of the work they are doing, it changes how they show up everywhere else in life.
That is the kind of company we are building.
We believe in improving the quality of life for the people we work with and the people we work for. We believe homes matter because families matter. And we believe that how we build says just as much as what we build.
Our motto today reflects that belief.
We don’t just build beautiful spaces together. We build our lives together.
We would be honored to serve you, your home, and your family.

Our (Family) Team
Kyle Kleeberger
Founder & Owner
If you ask Kyle what he enjoys most about his work, it probably isn’t remodeling – it’s people.
Building a beautiful home is rewarding, but building a great team, earning a family’s trust, and helping others grow are the things that continue to motivate him every day.
Kyle began his career as a tile setter, where he developed a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Over time, that passion evolved into something much bigger. Today, as the owner of Kleeberger Contracting Services, he is focused on creating an exceptional remodeling experience while building a company where people are valued, challenged, and encouraged to grow.
A lifelong learner, Kyle is constantly reading, asking questions, and exploring new ideas about leadership, business, psychology, and personal growth. His curiosity has shaped the culture at KCS, where continuous improvement, ownership, and genuine care for others are just as important as the finished product.
Kyle believes that a successful business should leave people better than it found them—whether that’s a client who loves coming home to their newly remodeled space or a team member who has grown in confidence, skill, and character. His desire to invest in others extends beyond the job site and influences the way he leads his team, serves clients, and approaches everyday life.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, Brooke, and their six children, making weekend breakfasts for the family, staying active through volleyball and fitness, listening to good music, and finding any excuse for a new adventure. No matter what he’s doing, his goal remains the same: to keep learning, keep growing, and help others do the same.

Dave Kleeberger
Project Manager / Supervisor
With over 38 years in the flooring and construction industry, Dave brings unparalleled experience and wisdom to the KCS family. While his exterior may sometimes seem tough, underneath is one of the kindest and most fun-loving Project Managers—and Dads—you’ll ever meet.
Outside of work, Dave has a deep love for his dogs, Jack and Jill, and a daily ritual of playing his acoustic guitar. But it’s his boundless creativity that truly sets him apart. Dave is an artist through and through, expressing himself across a wide range of mediums: from computer-generated artwork, drawing, and comic book design to leatherwork, sculpture, and clock-making. His talents extend into storytelling as well—he writes and edits his own musicals, concept albums, screenplays, books, and poetry.
And, of course, his grandkids’ favorite creations are his famous clay figurines, the whimsical “Geebees.” Whether he’s managing projects or creating art, Dave’s blend of creativity, experience, and warmth makes him an indispensable and beloved part of the KCS team.

Jared loves to eat sunflower seeds by the bag and due to his tendency to meticulously clean things, the only way you’d ever find a shell is if you put one there yourself! One of the most personable men you’ll meet, Jared has made many friends with our clients in the field. Caring and compassionate are two words that describe his actions and demeanor well. He has a competitive spirit, especially around his twin brother Zach, and is great at putting his mind to a project and getting things done. Holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Toledo, Jared’s passion for skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail speaks from his countless completed projects. Zach Bare
Foreman – Skilled Tradesman
When Zach orders a footlong sub, he takes off six of the eight slices of American Cheese and eats them independently from his sandwich so he can savor the unadulterated flavor of cheesy goodness. If that doesn’t tell you what an amazing human being Zach is, we don’t know what would. He shares the distinguished honor of being an identical twin with his brother Jared. Zach loves watching sports and being active outdoors. He also has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Toledo, though years ago, after he discovered his passion for working with his hands Zach charted a new course and hasn’t looked back. He continues to pursue excellence in his role as Foreman for KCS Inc. He has a warm smile and an even warmer heart! With his solid work ethic and innovative spirit, he continues to both impress and endear our homeowners with his superb work and genuine personality.

Parker Strauss
Foreman
Parker worked for Kyle before KCS was officially organized as summer help back in 2015. So it’s more of a reunion than an addition, but nonetheless it is good to have him back in action. Since 2015, Parker has graduated from Liberty Center High School, spent 1.5 years working for a local electrical company, and 1.5 years working for a local concrete contractor gaining all sorts of useful knowledge and skill sets.
Some other reasons we love having Parker around:
– He has a great work ethic.
– He is teachable and hungry to learn new aspects of the trades.
– He regularly listens to Frank Sinatra’s music.
– He is very easy going.
– He has a great sense of humor.
– And he has a kind and compassionate presence.
Our clients have enjoyed his presence in their homes over the last couple months, and we look forward to having him around for many years to come!

Hanson Saneholtz
Foreman
Now well into his third year with K.C.S., Hanson has become one of the cornerstones of our field team; steady, skilled, and always ready to lend a hand. Known for his dependability and calm, collected presence on the job site, Hanson approaches every project with a quiet confidence and a craftsman’s heart. He’s the kind of foreman you can count on to keep things running smoothly, no matter what the day throws his way.
But don’t let his composed demeanor fool you, Hanson keeps the crew laughing with his comical outbursts, quick wit, and unexpected one-liners that seem to come out of nowhere. There’s a warmth and charm to him that’s unmistakably genuine, the mark of a small-town guy who values hard work, humility, and family above all else.
When he’s not leading projects, you’ll find Hanson outdoors doing what he loves most: tending to his ever-growing homestead of pigs, chickens, goats, cows, and horses, or spending time in the woods recharging in solitude. A devoted family man, he somehow finds time to play sports, help friends move, fix a truck, or install tile flooring, always with a smile and a helping heart.
Reliable, kind, and endlessly good-natured, Hanson brings a special kind of balance to our team, the perfect blend of laughter, leadership, and grounded grace.

Ethan Krupp
Project Manager
Since joining K.C.S. in 2020, Ethan has become one of the driving forces behind our team’s commitment to excellence, resilience, and heart. Known for his tenacious work ethic and relentless follow-through, Ethan is a finisher through and through – the kind of person who sees every project, and every challenge, all the way to the end. Over the years, he’s worn just about every hat at K.C.S., earning the respect of his teammates through his dependability, leadership, and quiet strength.
Ethan’s discipline extends far beyond the job site. A true athlete at heart, he thrives on pushing his limits through endurance races, triathlons, and spontaneous push-up sessions, over 250,000 by January 1, 2026, to be exact. When asked how many he’ll complete by year’s end, his answer captures his spirit perfectly: “Not enough.”
Off the clock, Ethan finds balance through breathwork, meditation, and time with his girlfriend, Casiana. He’s deeply connected and rooted in his strong family where his notable values were forged. Humble yet inspiring, Ethan motivates our entire team to grow stronger – not just in body, but in mind and character.

Jesse Wilson
Foreman
Jesse’s path into construction started early, helping his dad with the family flooring business in Paulding. Because his parents operated the business without employees, he gained hands-on experience from a young age and developed an appreciation for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and doing things the right way.
Over the years, Jesse has built a diverse skill set through flooring installation, finish carpentry, framing, concrete preparation, and other areas of residential construction. The trades seem to come naturally to him, and his broad experience has made him a versatile craftsman who enjoys learning, growing, and finding the best solution for each project.
Outside of work, Jesse is just as intentional about his personal health. He enjoys eating clean, practicing yoga, and is currently working toward becoming a certified yoga instructor. His commitment to continual growth—both personally and professionally—is something that carries into the work he does every day.
Since joining the KCS team, Jesse has often shared how much he enjoys both the work and the people he gets to work alongside. That positive attitude, combined with his pride in quality craftsmanship, makes him a valued member of the team and helps create the kind of experience we strive to provide for every client.
