This stunning wellness retreat is proof that even a lower-level space can become the most rejuvenating room in the home. Our clients, both deeply involved in the health and recovery world, envisioned a quiet escape where they could relax, reset, and elevate their daily routines. We partnered with them to transform an unfinished basement corner into a spa-grade sanctuary that feels both luxurious and purposeful.
The remodel features a prefabricated infrared sauna, chosen for its therapeutic benefits and sleek design, paired with a dedicated cold-plunge soaking tub to support contrast therapy and holistic recovery. To ground the space, we installed 24×24 large-format porcelain tiles, complemented by electric heated floors for a warm, calming atmosphere the moment you step inside.
A full glass enclosure—complete with two glass French doors—frames the entire spa suite, creating a peaceful visual separation while keeping the space open, bright, and modern. On the opposite wall, we added a bar and refreshment area, providing convenient access to hydration, supplements, and everything needed post-sauna.
